Gold Coast Health has awarded the NEXA Group (Sydney, Australia) a contract to deliver a Patient Management and Queue Management Solution.
The system currently managing patient appointments at Robina Hospital’s Outpatients Department will be upgraded and rolled out across several departments at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) to facilitate, manage and report on patient appointments and services.
The objectives of implementing Patient Flow at GCUH are to:
- improve the experience for patients attending outpatient appointments and diagnostic services
- preserve patient confidentiality
- promote better visibility and control of the patient journey and clinic flow
- deliver efficiencies for clinicians, nurses and administration officers
improve management planning and reporting.
