For the past 56 years, The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) has been bringing together the brightest minds in Health and IT at their annual conference to promote the best use of information technology and management systems in the health care industry. This year at HiMSS17, NEXA was represented by Adam Heaney as he joined the Q-nomy team to engage with the almost 45,000 attendees, exhibitors and conference speakers.

“For the past 5 days we have been intensely discussing and learning how health IT is enabling healthcare organizations to improve patient care and lower costs. There is a lot of brilliant work being down around the world and we cannot wait to apply these discoveries in Australia”, said Heaney, Senior Project Manager Health.

At the conference, Q-nomy launched their much-anticipated Q-Flow for Healthcare solution which enables healthcare providers to improve patient experience, reduce operational waste, shorten time-to-payment, and improve patient throughput in any type of department or clinic.

Q-Flow for Healthcare is based on the recently announced Q-Flow 6 Care Delivery Planning and Real-Time Orchestration product platform, and is available either as a flexible and robust enterprise solution, or as a configurable solution for emergency departments, operating rooms and day care clinics.

“The sheer complexity of handling and proactively promoting in real time the progress of various patient journeys before, during and after their actual treatment presents a challenge to healthcare IT and operations managers alike”, says Simon Pearson, VP Delivery at Q-nomy. He emphasizes that “Q-Flow for Healthcare is the only solution that proactively helps healthcare delivery professionals to view, plan, manage and promote care processes, in any department”.

At the end of March NEXA is running an Optimising the Patient Journey workshop series across the country. Lior Miller, Chief Healthcare Solution Architect from Q-nomy, will be sharing his extensive knowledge and foresight about the technology advancements enabling the healthcare facilities of the future. He brings with him real-life case studies showcasing how to effectively automate the care pathway, future road maps and more.

If you would like to attend one of our workshops, please register for your complimentary ticket. Spaces are limited.
